Creation and re-creation
Creating useful objects is at the center of our homestead in order for it to function. Whether it is making a mobile chicken coup out of reclaimed lumber or making a fire striker out of an old hay rake, we take what we have collected, foraged, scavenged, found, bought and traded for to make unique items that are reminiscent of a bygone era. Teaching skills
A lot of what we know has been self taught and honed through trial and error and we would like to pass our knowledge base on to others that desire to be more self reliant and confident in their skill sets. We teach classes at our homestead and also on our Youtube channel.
Alone Season 7 Watch Keith compete for $1M on the History Channel
Just South of the Arctic Circle, Keith and 9 others braved the wilderness alone with only 10 items to help them survive. They had to construct a shelter, find food, ward off predators all while dealing with isolation and the harsh environment.
